Comparison with general insulation materials (such as asbestos)

Conventional asbestos-based insulation materials have been linked to health problems from inhaling scattered fibers, and their use is now strictly restricted.
This product is a field-applied rigid urethane foam that contains no asbestos and is designed with safety in mind.
